سورة المائدة
Al Ma'ida
اى قوم من! به سرزمين مقدّسى‌كه خداوند براى شما معين كرده، وارد شويد؛ و به پشت سرخود بازنگرديد [و عقب‌نشينى نكنيد] كه زيانكار خواهيد بود».
O my people! enter the holy land which Allah has prescribed for you and turn not on your backs for then you will turn back losers.
અય મારી કોમ ! તમે આ મુકદ્દસ ઝમીનમાં દાખલ થાઓ જે અલ્લાહે તમારા માટે લખી દીધી છે, અને (મેદાનથી) પીઠ ફેરવી પાછા ભાગો નહિ, નહિતર નુકસાન ઉઠાવનારા થઇ જશો.
گفتند: «اى موسى! در آنجا، گروهى [نيرومند و] ستمگرند؛ و ما هرگز وارد آن نمى‌شويم تا آن‌ها از آن خارج شوند؛ اگر آن‌ها از آن خارج شوند، ما وارد خواهيم شد».
They said: O Musa! surely there is a strong race in it, and we will on no account enter it until they go out from it, so if they go out from it, then surely we will enter.
તેમણે કહ્યું કે અય મૂસા ! બેશક એમાં તો જબ્બાર લોકોની કોમ છે, અને જ્યાં સુધી તેમાંથી તેઓ નીકળી નહિ જાય ત્યાં સુધી અમે હરગિઝ તેમાં દાખલ થઇશું નહિ; જો તેઓ તેમાંથી નીકળી જશે તો પછી અમે જરૂર દાખલ થઇશું.
[ولى] دو نفر از مردان خدا ترس كه خداوند به آن‌ها، نعمت [عقل و ايمان و شجاعت] داده بود، گفتند: «شما [به يك‌باره] وارد دروازه [شهر آنان] شويد و هنگامى‌كه وارد شديد، پيروز خواهيد شد. و بر خدا توكّل كنيد اگر ايمان داريد».
Two men of those who feared, upon both of whom Allah had bestowed a favor, said: Enter upon them by the gate, for when you have entered it you shall surely be victorious, and on Allah should you rely if you are believers.
તેઓમાંના બે શખ્સોએ કે જેઓ (અલ્લાહની નાફરમાનીથી) ડરતા હતા અને જેમને અલ્લાહે નેઅમત અતા કરી હતી કહ્યું કે દરવાજામાંથી દાખલ થઇ જાઓ, જો તમે તેમાં દાખલ થશો તો બેશક તમે જ ગાલીબ થશો, અને અગર તમે મોઅમીન હોવ તો અલ્લાહ ઉપર જ આધાર રાખો.
[بنى‌اسرائيل] گفتند: «اى موسى! تا آن‌ها در آنجا هستند، ما هرگز وارد نخواهيم شد؛ تو و پروردگارت برويد و [با آنان] بجنگيد، ما همين جا نشسته‌ايم».
They said: O Musa! we shall never enter it so long as they are in it; go therefore you and your Lord, then fight you both surely we will here sit down.
તેઓએ (બની ઇસરાઇલે) કહ્યું કે અય મૂસા! જ્યાં સુધી તેઓ (જબ્બાર લોકો) તેની અંદર છે અમે હરગિઝ દાખલ નહિ થઇએ; તું અને તારો પરવરદિગાર જાઓ અને બંને તેઓથી લડો; અમે તો અહીંજ બેસી રહીશું.
[ موسى] گفت: «پروردگارا! من تنها اختيار خودم و برادرم را دارم، ميان ما و اين جمعيّت گنهكار، جدايى بيفكن».
He said: My Lord! Surely I have no control (upon any) but my own self and my brother; therefore make a separation between us and the nation of transgressors.
તેણે (હઝરત મૂસા અ.સ.એ) કહ્યું કે અય મારા પરવરદિગાર! હું ફકત મારી જાતનો તથા મારા ભાઇનો ઇખ્તેયાર રાખું છું; માટે તું અમને તે નાફરમાન લોકોથી જુદા પાડી દે.
خداوند [به موسى] فرمود: «اين سرزمين [ مقدّس]، تا چهل سال بر آن‌ها ممنوع است [و به آن نخواهند رسيد]؛ پيوسته در زمين (در اين بيابان)، سرگردان خواهند بود؛ و درباره‌ی [سرنوشت] اين جمعيّت گنهكار، غمگين مباش».
He said: So it shall surely be forbidden to them for forty years, they shall wander about in the land, therefore do not grieve for the nation of transgressors.
તેણે (અલ્લાહે) ફરમાવ્યું કે તેમના (બની ઇસરાઇલ) ઊપર ચાલીસ વર્ષ (મુકદ્દસ ઝમીનને) હરામ કરી દેવામાં આવી, તેઓ ઝમીન પર ભટક્યા કરશે; તું તે નાફરમાન લોકો માટે અફસોસ કરજે નહિ.
و داستان دو فرزند آدم را به‌درستى بر آن‌ها بخوان: هنگامى‌كه هر كدام، كارى براى تقرّب انجام دادند؛ امّا از يكى پذيرفته شد، و از ديگرى پذيرفته نشد؛ [برادرى كه عملش مردود شده بود، به برادر ديگر] گفت: «به خدا سوگند تو را خواهم كشت»! [برادر ديگر] گفت: [من چه گناهى‌دارم؟ زيرا] خدا، تنها از پرهيزگاران مى‌پذيرد.
And relate to them the story of the two sons of Adam with truth when they both offered an offering, but it was accepted from one of them and was not accepted from the other. He said: I will most certainly slay you. (The other) said: Allah only accepts from those who guard (against evil).
અને તું અય રસૂલ (સ.અ.વ.) તેમને આદમના બંને ફરઝંદોની ખરી હકીકત વાંચી સંભળાવ કે જ્યારે તેમણે (અલ્લાહથી) નઝદીકી હાંસિલ કરવા માટે કુરબાની પેશ કરી ત્યારે તે બંનેમાંથી એકની (કુરબાની) કબૂલ થઇ અને બીજાની કબૂલ થઇ નહિ; તેણે કહ્યું કે હું જરૂર તને મારી નાખીશ; (બીજાએ) કહ્યું કે અલ્લાહ પરહેઝગારોથી જ (કુરબાની કબૂલ) કરે છે.
اگر تو براى كشتن من، دست دراز‌كنى،من هرگز به قتل تو دست نمى‌گشايم، چون من از خداوند كه پروردگار جهانيان است مى‌ترسم.
If you will stretch forth your hand towards me to slay me, I am not one to stretch forth my hand towards you to slay you surely I fear Allah, the Lord of the worlds:
અગર તું તારો હાથ મને મારી નાખવાના ઇરાદાથી મારા તરફ લંબાવીશ તો પણ હું મારો હાથ તને મારી નાખવાના હેતુથી તારી તરફ લંબાવનાર નથી કારણકે હું તો રબ્બુલ આલમીનથી ડરૂં છું.
من مى‌خواهم تو بار‌گناه من و گناه خود را بر دوش كشى؛ و از دوزخيان گردى. و همين است سزاى ستمكاران!
Surely I wish that you should bear the sin committed against me and your own sin, and so you would be of the inmates of the fire, and this is the recompense of the unjust.
બેશક હું ચાહું છું કે મારા (કત્લના) ગુનાહ અને તારા ગુનાહ સાથે (અલ્લાહની બારગાહમાં) પાછો ફર અને જહન્નમવાસીઓ-માંથી થઇ જાય અને ઝાલિમનો બદલો એ જ છે.
نفس سركش، به تدريج او را به كشتن برادرش ترغيب كرد؛ و [سرانجام] او را كشت؛ و از زيانكاران شد.
Then his mind facilitated to him the slaying of his brother so he slew him; then he became one of the losers
પછી તેના નફસે તેના ભાઇનું ખૂન કરવુ આસાન કરી નાખ્યુ અને તેણે (કાબીલે) તેને (હાબીલને) મારી નાખ્યો પરિણામે તે નુકસાન ઉઠાવનારાઓમાંથી થઇ ગયો.
