سورة الأعراف
Al A'raf
براى آن‌ها بسترى از [آتشِ] دوزخ، و روى آن‌ها پوششى [از آن] است؛ و اينچنين ستمكاران را جزا مى‌دهيم.
They shall have a bed of hell-fire and from above them coverings (of it); and thus do We reward the unjust.
જહન્નમમાં તેમના માટે આગની પથારી હશે તથા તેમના ઉપર ઓઢવાનું પણ (અગ્નિનું) હશે; અને અમે ઝાલિમોને આ રીતે બદલો આપીએ છીએ.
و كسانى كه ايمان آورده و كارهاى شايسته انجام داده‌اند البتّه هيچ‌كس را جز به‌اندازه‌ی تواناييش تكليف نمى‌كنيم آن‌ها اهل بهشتند؛ و جاودانه در آن خواهند ماند.
And (as for) those who believe and do good We do not impose on any soul a duty except to the extent of its ability-- they are the dwellers of the garden; in it they shall abide.
અને જે લોકો ઇમાન લાવ્યા તથા નેક આમાલ કર્યા - જો કે અમે કોઇ નફસને તેના ગજા ઉપરાંત જવાબદારી આપતા નથી - તેઓ જ જન્નતવાસીઓ છે; જેમાં તેઓ હંમેશા રહેશે.
و آنچه در دل‌ها از كينه و حسد دارند، برمى‌كَنيم [تا در صفا با هم زندگى كنند]؛ و از زير [قصرهاى] آن‌ها، نهرها جارى است؛ مى‌گويند: «ستايش مخصوص خداوندى است كه ما را به اين [همه نعمت‌ها] رهنمون شد؛ و اگر خدا ما را هدايت نكرده بود، ما [به اين‌ها] راه نمى‌يافتيم. مسلّماً فرستادگان پروردگار ما حق را آوردند». و [در اين هنگام] به آنان ندا داده مى‌شود كه: «اين بهشت را در برابر اعمالى كه انجام مى‌داديد، به ارث برديد».
And We will remove whatever of ill-feeling is in their breasts; the rivers shall flow beneath them and they shall say: All praise is due to Allah Who guided us to this, and we would not have found the way had it not been that Allah had guided us; certainly the apostles of our Lord brought the truth; and it shall be cried out to them that this is the garden of which you are made heirs for what you did.
અને તેમના દિલોમાંથી અમે કીન્નાખોરીને દૂર કરી દેશું, તેમના (મહેલ) હેઠળથી નદીઓ વહેતી હશે, અને તેઓ કહેશે કે તમામ વખાણ અલ્લાહને જ માટે છે કે જેણે અમને આ (જન્નત માટે)ની હિદાયત કરી, અને જો અલ્લાહે અમારી હિદાયત કરી ન હોત તો અમે હરગિઝ હિદાયત મેળવતે નહિ; ખરેખર અમારા પરવરદિગારના રસૂલો અમારી પાસે હક લઇને આવ્યા હતા. અને તેમને પોકારી કહેવામાં આવશે કે આ એ જ જન્નત છે કે જેના તમને તમારા (નેક) આમાલના કારણે વારસ બનાવવામાં આવ્યા છે.
و بهشتيان دوزخيان را صدا مى‌زنند كه: «آنچه را پروردگارمان به ما وعده داده بود، همه را حق يافتيم؛ آيا شما هم آنچه را پروردگارتان به شما وعده داده بود حق يافتيد»؟! مى‌گويند: «آرى» دراين هنگام، ندادهنده‌اى در ميان آن‌ها ندا مى‌دهد كه: «لعنت خدا بر ستمكاران باد»!
And the dwellers of the garden will call out to the inmates of the fire: Surely we have found what our Lord promised us to be true; have you too found what your Lord promised to be true? They will say: Yes. Then a crier will cry out among them that the curse of Allah is on the unjust.
અને જન્નતવાળા જહન્નમવાળાઓને પૂકારીને કહેશે કે અમારા પરવરદિગારે અમને જે વાયદો કર્યો હતો તે (વાયદા)ને અમે સાચો પામ્યો, શું તમારા પરવરદિગારે જે વાયદો તમને કર્યો હતો તે તમે સાચો પામ્યો? તેઓ જવાબ આપશે કે હા. પછી એક એલાન કરનાર એલાન કરશે કે ઝાલિમો પર અલ્લાહની લાનત છે:
[همان] كسانى كه [مردم را] از راه خدا باز مى‌دارند، و [با القاى شبهات] مى‌‌خواهند آن را كج‌و‌معوج نشان دهند؛ و آن‌ها سراى ديگر را انكار مى‌كنند.
Who hinder (people) from Allah's way and seek to make it crooked, and they are disbelievers in the hereafter.
જેઓ રાહે ખુદાથી (લોકોને) અટકાવે છે અને રાહે ખુદાને વાંકો ચૂકો બતાવવા ચાહે છે, અને તેઓ આખેરતનો ઇન્કાર કરનારા છે.
و در ميان آن‌دو (بهشتيان و دوزخيان)، حجابى است؛ و بر «اعراف» مردانى هستند كه هريك از آن‌دو گروه را از چهره‌هايشان مى‌شناسند؛ و بهشتيان را صدا مى‌زنند كه: «درود بر شما باد»! امّا داخل بهشت نمى‌شوند، در‌حالى‌كه اميد آن را دارند.
And between the two there shall be a veil, and on the most elevated places there shall be men who know all by their marks, and they shall call out to the dwellers of the garden: Peace be on you; they shall not have yet entered it, though they hope.
અને તે બન્ને વચ્ચે એક પરદો હશે, અને અઅરાફ (સૌથી ઊંચી જગ્યાઓ) પર એવા માણસો હશે કે જેઓ દરેકને તેની નિશાનીઓથી ઓળખતા હશે,* અને તેઓ જન્નતવાળાઓને સંબોધી કહેશે કે તમારા પર સલામ હોજો, જો કે તેઓ પોતે હજુ તેમાં દાખલ થયા નહિ હોય પરંતુ ઉમેદવાર હશે.
و هنگامى‌كه چشمشان به دوزخيان مى‌‌افتد مى‌گويند: «پروردگارا! ما را با گروه ستمكاران قرار مده».
And when their eyes shall be turned towards the inmates of the fire, they shall say: Our Lord! place us not with the unjust
અને જ્યારે તેઓની નજર જહન્નમવાસીઓ તરફ ફરશે, ત્યારે કહેશે કે અય અમારા પરવરદિગાર ! અમને ઝાલિમો સાથે રાખજે નહિ.
و اصحاب اعراف، مردانى [از دوزخيان را] كه از سيمايشان آن‌ها را مى‌شناسند، صدا مى‌زنند و مى‌گويند: « [ديديد كه] نه جمع‌آورى [مال و ثروت] شما و نه تكبّر ورزيدن شما، به حالتان سودى نداد»!
And the dwellers of the most elevated places shall call out to men whom they will recognize by their marks saying: Of no avail were to you your amassings and your behaving haughtily:
અને અઅરાફવાળાઓ* અમુકને કે જેમને તેઓ તેમની નિશાનીઓથી ઓળખી લેશે ત્યારે પોકારીને કહેશે કે ન તમારી જમાઅત તમને કાંઇ કામ આવી અને ન તમારો તકબ્બુર.
آيا اين‌ها (اين واماندگان براعراف) همانان هستند كه سوگند ياد كرديد خداوند، هرگز رحمتش را شامل حال آن‌ها نخواهد كرد؟! [ولى خداوند به خاطر ايمان و كارهاى نيكشان، آن‌ها رابخشيد؛ هم‌اكنون به آن‌ها گفته مى‌شود]: داخل بهشت شويد، كه نه ترسى بر شماست و نه اندوهگين مى‌شويد.
Are these they about whom you swore that Allah will not bestow mercy on them? Enter the garden; you shall have no fear, nor shall you grieve.
શું આ તેઓજ છે કે જેમના વિશે તમે કસમ ખાઇને કહ્યા કરતા હતા કે તેમને અલ્લાહની રહેમત હાંસિલ થશે નહિ? (તેઓને કહેવામાં આવશે) તમે જન્નતમાં દાખલ થઇ જાઓ, ન તમને કાંઇ ડર રહેશે અને ન તમે ગમગીન થશો.
و دوزخيان، بهشتيان را صدا مى‌زنند كه: «[ترحّم كنيد و] مقدارى آب، يا از آنچه خدا به شما روزى داده، به ما ببخشيد». آن‌ها [در پاسخ] مى‌گويند: «خداوند اين‌ها را بر كافران حرام كرده است».
And the inmates of the fire shall call out to the dwellers of the garden, saying: Pour on us some water or of that which Allah has given you. They shall say: Surely Allah has prohibited them both to the unbelievers.
અને જહન્નમવાળા જન્નતવાળાઓને પોકારીને કહેશે કે અમને થોડુંક પાણી આપો અથવા અલ્લાહે તમને જે કાંઇ આપ્યું છે; તેમાંથી આપો તેઓ જવાબ આપશે કે બેશક અલ્લાહે એ બન્ને વસ્તુઓ નાસ્તિકો માટે હરામ કરી છે:
