سورة الضحى
Ad Dhuha
سوگند به روز درآن‌هنگام كه آفتاب برآيد و گسترده شود.
I swear by the early hours of the day,
કસમ છે ઊગતા દિવસની :
و سوگند به شب هنگامىكه آرام گيرد.
And the night when it covers with darkness.
અને કસમ છે રાતની જ્યારે કે તે આરામ આપે છે :
كه پروردگارت هرگز تو را وانگذاشته و مورد خشم قرار نداده.
Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased,
તારા પરવરદિગારે તને ન છોડી દીધો છે અને ન તારાથી નારાજ થયો છે.
و به يقين آخرت براى تو از دنيا بهتر است.
And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before.
અને તારા માટે આખેરત દુનિયા કરતાં વધારે બહેતર છે.
و به‌زودى پروردگارت آن‌قدر به تو عطا خواهد كرد كه راضى شوى.
And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased.
અને ખરેખર જલ્દી જ તારો પરવરદિગાર તને એટલુ અતા કરશે કે તું રાજી થઇ જઇશ.
آيا او تو را يتيم نيافت و پناه داد؟!
Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter?
શું તેણે તને યતીમ પામીને પનાહ નથી આપી?
و تو را گمشده يافت و هدايت كرد.
And find you lost (that is, unrecognized by men) and guide (them to you)?
અને તને ગુમ થયેલો જોઇને તારી હિદાયત કરી.
و تو را نيازمند يافت و بىنياز نمود.
And find you in want and make you to be free from want?
અને તને મોહતાજ (તંગદસ્ત) જોયા પછી તને બેનિયાઝ કર્યા.
حال كه چنين است يتيم را تحقير مكن.
Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him).
માટે તું યતીમને ઝલીલ ન કરજે:
و سائل را از خود مران.
And as for him who asks, do not chide (him),
અને માંગનારને ધુત્કારી ન કાઢજે:
