سورة هود
Hud
او گفت: «بر آن (کشتى) سوار شوید به نام خدا؛ در هنگام حرکت آن و توقّفش، که پروردگارم آمرزنده و مهربان است».
And he said: Embark in it, in the name of Allah be its sailing and its anchoring; most surely my Lord is Forgiving, Merciful.
અને તેણે કહ્યું કે અલ્લાહના નામથી તેમાં સવાર થઇ જાઓ, તેનું ચાલવું તથા રોકાવું તે (અલ્લાહ)ના નામથી જ છે; ખરેખર મારો પરવરદિગાર ગફુરૂર રહીમ છે.
و کشتى، آن‌ها را از میان امواجى همچون کوه‌ها حرکت مى‌داد؛ [در این هنگام] نوح فرزندش را که در گوشه‌اى بود صدا زد: «پسرم! همراه ما سوار شو و با کافران مباش»!
And it moved on with them amid waves like mountains; and Nuh called out to his son, and he was aloof: O my son! embark with us and be not with the unbelievers.
અને તે (વહાણ) તેમને પહાડ જેવાં મોજાઓ વચ્ચે લઇને ચાલ્યું જતું હતું; અને નૂહે પોતાના ફરઝંદને એવી હાલતમાં કે તે (મોમીનો અને વાલિદથી જુદો થઇને) ખૂણામાં હતો અવાજ આપી કે, અય મારા ફરઝંદ! અમારી સાથે સવાર થઇ જા અને કાફિરો સાથે ન રહે.
گفت: «به‌زودى به کوهى پناه مى‌برم که مرا از آب حفظ مى‌کند»! [نوح] گفت: «امروز هیچ نگهدارنده‌اى در برابر فرمان خدا نیست؛ مگر آن‌کس را که او رحم کند». در این‌هنگام، موج در میان آن دو جدایى افکند؛ و او در زمره‌ی غرق‌شدگان قرارگرفت!
He said: I will betake myself for refuge to a mountain that shall protect me from the water. Nuh said: There is no protector today from Allah's punishment but He Who has mercy; and a wave intervened between them, so he was of the drowned.
તેણે કહ્યું કે હું હમણાંજ પહાડ પર પનાહ લઇ લઇશ, તે મને પાણીથી બચાવી લેશે; (નૂહે) ફરમાવ્યું કે આજના દિવસે અલ્લાહના હુકમથી બચાવનાર કોઇ નથી સિવાય કે જેના પર તે રહેમ કરે; અને એક મોજું બન્નેની વચ્ચે આવી ગયું અને તે ડૂબી જનારાઓમાંથી થઇ ગયો.
و گفته شد: «اى زمین، آبت را فروبر! و اى آسمان، [از بارش] خوددارى کن»! و آب فرو نشست و کار پایان یافت و [کشتى] بر [دامنه‌ی کوه] جودى، پهلو گرفت؛ و [در این‌هنگام]، گفته شد: «دور باد گروه ستمکاران [از رحمت خد]!
And it was said: O earth, swallow down your water, and O cloud, clear away; and the water was made to abate and the affair was decided, and the ark rested on the Judi, and it was said: Away with the unjust people.
અને હુકમ આપવામાં આવ્યો કે, અય ઝમીન! તું તારા પાણીને ગળી જા, અને અય આસમાન! (વરસવાથી) રોકાઇ જા; અલ્લાહનો હુકમ પૂર્ણ થયો અને તે કશ્તી (જુદી નામના) પહાડના કિનારે રોકાઇ ગઇ, અને આ કહી દેવામાં આવ્યું કે ઝાલિમ લોકો (મારી રહેમતથી) દૂર રહેશે.
نوح به پروردگارش عرض کرد: «پروردگارا! پسرم از خاندان من است؛ و وعده‌ی تو [در مورد نجات خاندانم] حقّ است؛ و تو بهترین حکم‌کنندگانى».
And Nuh cried out to his Lord and said: My Lord! surely my son is of my family, and Thy promise is surely true, and Thou art the most just of the judges.
અને નૂહે પોતાના પરવરદિગારને પૂકાર્યો અય મારા પરવરદિગાર! ખરેખર મારો ફરઝંદ મારા એહલથી છે, અને તારો વાયદો સાચો છે અને તું બેહતરીન ફેસલો કરનાર છે.
فرمود: «اى نوح! او از خاندان تو نیست؛ او عمل غیرصالحى است (فرد ناشایسته‌اى است)؛ پس آنچه را از آن آگاه نیستى، از من مخواه؛ من به تو اندرز مي‌‌دهم که از جاهلان نباشي».
He said: O Nuh! surely he is not of your family; surely he is (the doer of) other than good deeds, therefore ask not of Me that of which you have no knowledge; surely I admonish you lest you may be of the ignorant
તેણે કહ્યું કે અય નૂહ! બેશક તે તારા એહલમાંથી નથી કારણકે તેનો અમલ બરાબર નથી, માટે જે વાતની તને જાણ નથી તેના વિશે મારાથી સવાલ ન કર; બેશક હું તને નસીહત કરૂં છું કે તું જાહિલોમાંથી ન થઇ જા!
عرض کرد: «پروردگارا! من به تو پناه مى‌برم که از تو چیزى بخواهم که از آن آگاهى ندارم. و اگر مرا نیامرزى، و بر من رحم نکنى، از زیانکاران خواهم بود».
He said: My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from asking Thee that of which I have no knowledge; and if Thou shouldst not forgive me and have mercy on me, I should be of the losers.
તેણે કહ્યું કે અય મારા પરવરદિગાર બેશક હું તારાથી પનાહ માંગું છું કે તારાથી એ વસ્તુનો સવાલ કરૂં કે જેનું મને ઇલ્મ નથી; અને અગર તું મને માફ નહિ કરે અને મારા પર રહેમ નહિ કરે તો હું નુકસાન ભોગવનારાઓમાંથી થઇ જઇશ.
[به نوح] گفته شد: «اى نوح! با سلامت و برکاتى از ناحیه‌ی ما بر تو و بر تمام امّت‌هایى که با تواند، فرود آى! و امّت‌هایى نیز هستند که ما آن‌ها را از نعمت‌ها بهره‌مند خواهیم ساخت، سپس [به سبب کفران نعمت] عذاب دردناکى از سوى ما به آن‌ها مى‌رسد».
It was said: O Nuh! descend with peace from Us and blessings on you and on the people from among those who are with you, and there shall be nations whom We will afford provisions, then a painful punishment from Us shall afflict them.
કહેવામાં આવ્યું કે અય નૂહ! અમારા તરફથી સલામતી અને બરકતો સાથે ઉતર, તારી ઉપર અને તારી કોમ ઉપર છે જે તારી સાથે છે, અને અમુક કોમો એવી થશે કે જેમને નજીકમાં જ અમે (નેઅમતો થકી) ફાયદો પહોંચાડીશું. પછી (નાશુક્રીના કારણે) અમારા તરફથી તેમને દર્દનાક અઝાબ પહોંચશે.
[اى پیامبر]! این‌ها از اخبار غیبى است که به تو وحى مي‌کنیم؛ نه تو و نه قومت، این‌ها را پیش از این نمى‌دانستید. بنابراین، صبر و استقامت کن، که عاقبت از آن پرهیزگاران است.
These are announcements relating to the unseen which We reveal to you, you did not know them-- (neither) you nor your people-- before this; therefore be patient; surely the end is for those who guard (against evil).
આ ગૈબની ખબરો છે જે અમે તારા ઉપર વહી કરીએ છીએ; આ પહેલાં તેને ન તું જાણતો હતો ન તારી કૌમ; માટે હવે સબ્ર કર; બેશક (નેક) અંજામ મુત્તકીઓ માટે છે.
و به‌سوى [قومِ] عاد، برادرشان «هود» را فرستادیم؛ [به آن‌ها] گفت: «اى قوم من! خدا را پرستش کنید، که معبودى جز او براى شما نیست؛ شما فقط افترا مى‌بندید [و بت‌ها را همتاى او مى‌خوانید].
And to Ad (We sent) their brother Hud. He said: O my people! serve Allah, you have no god other than He; you are nothing but forgers (of lies).
અને આદવાળાઓ તરફ અમોએ તેમના ભાઇ હૂદને મોકલ્યો; તેણે કહ્યું અય મારી કોમ! અલ્લાહની ઇબાદત કરો, તેના સિવાય તમારો બીજો કોઇ ઇબાદતને લાયક નથી; તમે ફકત જૂઠી વાતો ઉપજાવી કાઢનારા છો.
