سورة البقرة
Al Baqara
كسانى كه كافر شدند، و در حال كفر از دنيا رفتند، لعنت خداوند و فرشتگان و همه‌ي مردم بر آنها خواهد بود.
Surely those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers, these it is on whom is the curse of Allah and the angels and men all;
બેશક જે લોકો ઈન્કાર કર્યો અને કુફ્રની હાલતમાં જ મરી ગયા તેમના ઉપર અલ્લાહની, ફરિશ્તાઓની તેમજ બધા લોકોની લાનત છે.
و هميشه در آن (لعن و دورى از رحمت پروردگار) باقى مى‌مانند؛ نه از عذابشان كاسته مى‌شود، و نه مهلتى به آنان داده مى‌شود.
Abiding in it; their chastisement shall not be lightened nor shall they be given respite.
જેમાં તેઓ હંમેશા રહેશે, તેમનો અઝાબ હરગિઝ હળવો કરવામાં આવશે નહિ, તેમજ તેમને મોહલત (પણ) આપવામાં આવશે નહિ.
و خداى شما، خداوند يگانه‌اى است، كه غير از او معبودى نيست!. اوست بخشنده و مهربان [و داراى رحمت عام و خاصّ].
And your God is one God! there is no god but He; He is the Beneficent, the Merciful.
તમારો ખુદા એક જ ખુદા છે, તેની સિવાય કોઇ ઇબાદતને લાયક નથી, જે રહેમાન, રહીમ છે.
در آفرينش آسمان‌ها و زمين، و آمد و شد شب و روز، و كشتي‌هايى كه در دريا به نفع مردم در حركتند، و آبى كه خداوند از آسمان نازل كرده، و با آن، زمين را پس از مردنش حيات بخشيده، و انواع جنبندگان را در آن گسترده ساخته، و [همچنين] در وزش بادها و ابرهايى كه ميان زمين و آسمان قرار گرفته‌اند، نشانه‌ها‌يى است [از ذات پاك خدا و يگانگى او] براى گروهى كه عقل خود را به كار مى‌گيرند.
Most surely in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day, and the ships that run in the sea with that which profits men, and the water that Allah sends down from the cloud, then gives life with it to the earth after its death and spreads in it all (kinds of) animals, and the changing of the winds and the clouds made subservient between the heaven and the earth, there are signs for a people who understand.
બેશક આકાશો તથા ઝમીનની ખિલકતમાં તથા રાત અને દિવસના પરિવર્તનમાં તથા તે વહાણોમાં (કે) જે સમુદ્રમાં તરતા ફરે છે, જેના વડે લોકો ફાયદો મેળવે છે તથા તે પાણીમાં કે જે અલ્લાહ આકાશમાંથી વરસાવે છે, પછી જેના વડે ઝમીનને તેના મરણ પછી પુન: સજીવન કરીને દરેક પ્રકારના જાનવરોને તેમાં ફેલાવી દે છે, અને પવનના ફેરફારમાં તથા તે વાદળાંઓમાં કે જે આકાશમાં અને ઝમીન વચ્ચે (અલ્લાહના) હુકમને આધીન રહે છે, સમજ ધરાવનાર લોકો માટે (તેમાં) નિશાનીઓ છે.
بعضى از مردم، غير از خداوند همتايانى [براى پرستش] انتخاب مى‌كنند؛ و آنها را همچون خدا دوست دارند. امّا كسانى كه ايمان آورده‌اند، محبّتشان به خدا، شديدتر است. و كسانى كه ستم كردند، [و معبودى غير خدا برگزيدند،] هرگاه عذاب الهى را مشاهده كنند، خواهنددانست كه تمامِ قدرت، از آنِ خداست؛ و خداوند، سخت كيفر است.
And there are some among men who take for themselves objects of worship besides Allah, whom they love as they love Allah, and those who believe are stronger in love for Allah and O, that those who are unjust had seen, when they see the chastisement, that the power is wholly Allah's and that Allah is severe in requiting (evil).
અને લોકોમાંથી એવા પણ છે કે જેઓ અલ્લાહ સિવાય બીજાઓને અલ્લાહ જેવો માને છે, અને તેઓને પણ અલ્લાહની જેમ જ ચાહે છે અને જેઓ ઈમાન લાવ્યા છે તેમને અલ્લાહ પ્રત્યે વધારે મોહબ્બત હોય છે અને કાશ કે ઝાલિમો આ વાતને અત્યારે સમજી લે જે વાત અઝાબ જોયા પછી સમજાશે કે તમામ તાકાત અલ્લાહ માટે છે અને અલ્લાહ સખત અઝાબ આપનાર છે.
در آن هنگام، پيشوايان [گمراه كننده] از پيروان خود، بيزارى مى‌جويند؛ و عذاب الهى را مشاهده مى‌كنند؛ و دستشان از همه جا كوتاه مى‌شود.
When those who were followed shall renounce those who followed (them), and they see the chastisement and their ties are cut asunder.
તે વખતે જેમની તાબેદારી કરવામાં આવતી હતી, તેઓ તાબેદારી કરનારાઓ પ્રત્યે બેઝારી જાહેર કરશે, અને અઝાબને જોશે કે નજાતના તમામ વસીલાઓ તેમનાથી અલગ થઇ જશે.
[در اين هنگام] پيروان مى‌گويند: «كاش بار ديگر به دنيا بر مى‌گشتيم تا از آنها ( پيشوايان گمراه) بيزارى جوييم،آن چنانكه آنان [امروز] از ما بيزارى جستند!» [آرى] خداوند اين چنين اعمال آنها را به صورتى حسرت‌آور به آنان نشان مى‌دهد؛ و از آتش دوزخ، هرگز خارج نخواهند شد.
And those who followed shall say: Had there been for us a return, then we would renounce them as they have renounced us. Thus will Allah show them their deeds to be intense regret to them, and they shall not come forth from the fire.
અને તાબેદારી કરનારાઓ કહેશે કે કદાચને અમને (દુનિયામાં) પાછુ જવાનું મળે તો અમે પણ તેમના પ્રત્યે એવી જ બેઝારી રાખશું જેવી કે અત્યારે તેમણે અમારી પ્રત્યે રાખી છે, આ પ્રમાણે અલ્લાહ તેમના આમાલને તેમના પસ્તાવાનું કારણ બનાવીને દેખાડશે, અને તેઓે જહન્નમમાંથી નીકળવા પામશે નહિ.
اى مردم! از نعمت‌هاى حلال و پاكيزه‌اى كه در زمين است بخوريد؛ و از گام‌هاى شيطان، پيروى نكنيد؛ زيرا او دشمن آشكار شماست.
O men! eat the lawful and good things out of what is in the earth, and do not follow the footsteps of the Shaitan; surely he is your open enemy.
અય લોકો! ઝમીનમાંથી (નીકળતી) હલાલ તથા પાક વસ્તુઓ ખાઓ, અને શૈતાનના પગલે ચાલો નહિ, બેશક તે તમારો ખુલ્લો દુશ્મન છે.
او شما را فقط به بدى و كار زشت فرمان مى‌دهد؛ [و نيز دستور مى‌دهد] آنچه را كه نمى‌دانيد، به خدا نسبت دهيد.
He only enjoins you evil and indecency, and that you may speak against Allah what you do not know.
તે (શયતાન) તમને ફકત બૂરા કાર્યો કરવાની તથા નિર્લજ પણે (વર્તવા)નો હુકમ કરે છે અને એ કે તમે અલ્લાહ ખિલાફ એ બધુ બોલો કે જે તમે નથી જાણતા.
و هنگامى‌كه به آنها گفته شود: «از آنچه خدا نازل كرده است، پيروى كنيد». مى‌گويند: «نه، ما از آنچه پدران خود را بر آن يافتيم، پيروى مى‌نماييم». آيا اگر پدران آنها، چيزى نمى‌فهميدند و هدايت نمى‌يافتند [باز هم بايد از آنها پيروى كنند]؟!
And when it is said to them, Follow what Allah has revealed, they say: Nay! we follow what we found our fathers upon. What! and though their fathers had no sense at all, nor did they follow the right way.
અને જયારે તેમને કહેવામાં આવે છે કે અલ્લાહે જે કાંઈ નાઝિલ કર્યુ છે તેને અનુસરો ત્યારે તેઓ કહે છે કે અમે તો તેને જ અનુસરીશું કે જેને અમારા બાપદાદાઓને અનુસરતા અમોએ જોયા છે; જો કે તેમના બાપદાદા કોઈ વસ્તુની સમજ ધરાવતા ન હતા (તેમજ) હિદાયત પામેલા ન હતા (તે છતાંય શું તેઓ તેમને અનુસરશે?)
